You certainly do a lot of complaining for someone who is already
better off than many others. Everyone has to play the hand they are
dealt, not the one they'd like to have.

The guy thinks the world owes him something because he says in his
****ing 50's he finally started to volunteer, or so he says... Most
folks I know who work for the public in such a capacity don't go around
bragging about it, trying to get something in return...

notice how the right wing completely ignores the fact there are 14M
unemployed in the US? they turn it into a personal attack rather than
dealing with EVIDENCE.

that's why they have their myths and fables. they can't handle the
truth

Bob, you might have better luck finding/holding a job if you learned
something about spelling, punctuation, proof reading and the power of
positive thinking.

ah. positive thinking

ignore the depression

ignore the inequality in the US

ignore unemployment

postive thinking...the rich are doing great so screw the middle class

now i understand right wing thinking

Meanwhile, I might delicately suggest that you are spending too much
time on the internet commiserating with losers instead of trying to
create a job for yourself. You know something about boats,
electronics, amateur radio, computers and engineering. Why not try
and leverage those skills into a new career? It might take a while to
get something going but at least it would keep your mind occupied and
moving in the right direction.

gee. i have a full time job AND volunteer

you? you're a professional suck up to the rich

you're a sheep

Guy tries to help you without name calling

so to the right wing

denying the truth

means someone is trying to help you

thanks. i already knew that

, and you just act like the
spoiled lazy lying asshole you are... And no one here believes you are a
****ing EMT, in your ****ing dreams maybe...

i gave you the website to look me up. sorry if you'[re too stupid to
use it

Don't care... Just disgusted you think you are special for doing
something most folks do... volunteer. You have no idea how much any of
us do, and/or if it's just as important to the folks we help as yours is
to the folks you say you help. But this whole "mine is better" thing is
quite harryesque, er, uh, progressive...

dont know much about economics do you? small businesses are not the
engine of employment

sorry

http://web.sba.gov/faqs/faqIndexAll.cfm?areaid=24

Small firms:
? Represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms.
? Employ half of all private sector employees.
? Pay 44 percent of total U.S. private payroll.
? Generated 65 percent of net new jobs over the past 17 years.
? Create more than half of the nonfarm private GDP.
? Hire 43 percent of high tech workers ( scientists, engineers,
computer programmers, and others).
? Are 52 percent home-based and 2 percent franchises.
? Made up 97.5 percent of all identified exporters and produced 31
percent of export value in FY 2008.
? Produce 13 times more patents per employee than large patenting
firms.

You really do like stepping in it don't you.

i notice you dont have a single reference to the topic under
discussion:

JOB GROWTH

small businesses go out of business more often than larger ones do.
they LOSE jobs after the first year.l

i suggest you stop listenin to talk radio and start reading more, OK,
sonny? you're not capable of dealing with facts

let's look at the radical leftist newspaper the 'wall street journal'

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...840478808.html

Businesses with fewer than 500 employees accounted for about three of
four jobs created since 1992, according to a paper from the Federal
Reserve Bank of St. Louis published in April.

But many don't last long. For instance, employers with fewer than four
workers have accounted for roughly 5% of all private-sector workers
since 1992, but 15% of all job creation and 15% of job destruction in
the private sector in that period, according to BLS.

so, like i said. small businesses don't create many jobs

sorry right whiner. i read economics. you listen to talk radio

He really doesn't care as long as they can tie you up all day with
harrytales, they are happy. Progressives hear lies that sound good and
use them even though they know they are lies.

shall we look at what the communist newspaper the 'wall street journal

For businesses to grow they need their own money to spend where they
need to spend it. Taking money from businesses and S corps in the form
of increased taxes means there is no money for the businesses to expand.

It is basic economics.
