Default Finding info on my boat

I have purchased a 1986 SeaRay 21' mid cabin about 2 weeks ago. I am
interested in finding any info I can about this boat. This would include
factory brochures or sales articles. Or any info as to what this boat is
in terms of description. (ex) cruiser, day cruiser or whatever. Any site
info would be appreciated. Thanks

No it isn't. Mine has another sleeping bunk under the helm. I guess it
is called a mid cabin. I tried the SeaRay site like mentioned above but
the archive system is not working for me. I type in the year and length
and the page just reappears. Thanks for the help though.

I had the same problem using Netscape, was OK after I switched to MS
Internet Explorer. It's not my preferred web browser but I'm finding
a lot of sites that no longer work with Netscape.

Just out of curiousity, which version of Netscape do you find no longer
working?

4.7

Yes, I know there are more recent versions, but never liked their look
and feel as well as 4.7

I know what you mean about the look and feel, never liked the new one.

I build web sites for a living and we have *finally* abandoned designing for
4.7. It interprets webpages in a very ... umm, "unique" way shall we say.
There is a lot of extra work making a page look and/or work well in 4.7. I'm
not sorry to see it go, I've invented new swear words trying to get things
to work in it.

This is what you're noticing on the web now, it's being abandoned by the
designers so as time goes by it will slowly stop working on anything but the
more basic stuff.

I can vouch for the Mozilla browser that someone recommended if you still
want to stay away from IE. The best parts are the tabbed browsing and
built-in pop-up blocker.

If you do go to IE then get the Google toolbar installed, it also blocks
pop-ups and has other useful stuff built in.

My personal firewall does a good job blocking pop ups, noxious
scripts, tracking cookies, etc. Any web page which won't display on
Netscape 4.7 is over designed and too MS centric in my opinion.

I also use NS...have since v 1.x. I too resisted upgrading from 4.7
'cuz I tried 6.0 and it was a disaster. But I finally had to do
something 'cuz, as Paul said, websites aren't being designed to run in
4.7 any more. NS 7 works very well...you really should try it. Although
they call it an upgrade, it's actually a stand-alone program that leaves
4.x intact on your computer. If you decide to keep 7.0x I'm running 7.02
and I think there's a upgrade to it), you do have uninstall 4.7,
though...if you try to keep 'em both, it creates conflicts.

Like it or not, being content to sit still no longer works...we have to
accept change or get left in the dust.
