Police: Gun safety lesson goes awry when dad accidentally shoots son

A father accidently shot his son in the thigh/buttocks area during a
gun safety lesson yesterday in his apartment in the 900 block of North
96th Street, according to the Seattle Police Department.

I’ll let the SPD take it from here, as I think they really nail the
irony in the incident:

They were showing each other their handguns and explaining to each
other the proper way to safely load/unload and disassemble the
different makes and models of each other’s handguns.

The father had just finished showing his son how to properly make his
gun safe and was about to hand the gun to the son when the father
pulled the trigger.

The son was transported to Harborview Medical Center with
non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, it was reported
the son had shot himself in the initial 911 call.

What are you trying to tell us? People in Seattle are stupid? We already
know that...

I wouldn't want to get that close.

Scott asked JPS a question and from that you gather that he is an expert
on the place. Didn't you say a liberal education was supposed to teach
you logic and reasoning? You must have skipped that class.

Apparently Liberal Arts doesn't include a course on reading comprehension...

So, I wonder what the numbers come up to.. How many cars are out there,
and how many have killed someone, how many bullets are out there, and
how many have killed people... cause most folks I know who have guns
seldom shoot them, and the ones who do, shoot targets for fun... In
fact, I would imagine most guns are not purchased with the intent of
killing at all.. But JPS doesn't have the capacity to see that, or the
integrity to admit it if he did... Remember, he freely admits he gets
his news mainly from Jon Stewart and Cobert... What do you expect?

So, using that logic, this:

proves that cars and especially 4-wheel-drives should be outlawed.

Cars singular purpose is not to kill, unlike guns.

I have more guns than I have cars. I have never killed anybody. So,
what does that prove?

Not to mention he suggestion that guns have a singular purpose proves he
is not nearly informed or honest enough to have an opinion on anything
here...

Not a friggin' thing! But it does prove that you have no skill in
determining the value or equivalency of debate points.

You need a remedial course in how correlation and causation do and
don't relate.

What debate. A debate is two folks arguing facts, not saying stupid ****
like "everyone who buys a gun buys if for one reason". That is just
daft, why would anybody "debate" that, we are just laughing at you
because you are so stupid and childish...
