I believe in free speech. But...I wouldn't mind seeing these morons from
Westboro have the **** beat out of them every time they pull this sort
of crap, and *especially* when they pull it at the funeral of a soldier
killed in action.

I'll believe corporations are people when Texas executes one.

They're losers Harry. They're the "Christian" Taliban.

Tim, the trouble is, because Harry is so quick to label people and put
them in a very narrow slot, he'll use those idiots as an example of all
Christianity.

I noticed that several here do as well. That's why I said they're the
taliban of Christianity. But you're right, people look at the
Westboro's and their radical lunacies, and that's how they wish to
brand ALL Christians.

It's really kinda sad that some people wish to be so narrow minded as
to judge all by looking at the antics of a few misaligned and self-
rightous klutzes.

But the funny thing is that Christianity has been mocked for around
2000 years, and it's still standing well. *So... I look at it like
this. If people want to curse the good Christians, then that really
doesn't make them any different than the Westboro's does it?

As a percentage of humanity, Christianity is on the rocks and shrinking.

Oh no, and far from it.

Smoking too much religious crack? China is only 3 or 4% Christian,
predominantly Buddhist and government is atheist without religious
preference. And in fact, no all seeing eye makes China more separation
between church and state than the USA.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisf...e-christianity

"Today, estimates of Christians range between 40 million and 100
million."

"During this period, house churches boomed in popularity. As the New
York Times correspondent Nicholas Kristof noted, initially popular
among the peasantry, Christianity's reach has extended towards the
cities and the wealthy and intellectual Chinese over the last decade.

The reasons for this boom are twofold. The first is that the Chinese
have found Christianity to be a stabilising belief system amid a
dramatically changing socioeconomic landscape, which had its previous
religious traditions crushed by Maoism and its values questioned after
Tiananmen Square. And, secondly, with its obvious western heritage,
the rise of Christianity may be linked to a subconscious attack on the
norms and values espoused by the PRC – rather like South Korea in the
1980s."

Granted, even 100 mil, is a small percentage considering there's well
over a billion people in China, but it's a long step of growth since
the 70's especially in a country run by a religion supervised
government

3 to 4% of 1.3 billion people is at most 52 million. And growth claims,
highly questionable.

Fastest growing religion in USA if you include atheists? Atheists. If
you exclude atheists, then it goes to Buddhism. Go figure.

Sort of follows black supremacy claims of being the first minority,
blacks are 3rd if you include Spanish decent.

Just a lot of bull**** to keep whining people happy. But then facts and
reality, no fleabaggers want to hear that. Some idiots feelings might
be hurt.

Chinese government is officially atheist. You need to read better
material. Check my stats on CIA Wold Fact Book, ship your voodoo
religious sermon sites.

I believe in free speech. But...I wouldn't mind seeing these
morons from
Westboro have the **** beat out of them every time they pull
this sort
of crap, and *especially* when they pull it at the funeral of
a soldier
killed in action.

I'll believe corporations are people when Texas executes one.

They're losers Harry. They're the "Christian" Taliban.

Tim, the trouble is, because Harry is so quick to label people
and put
them in a very narrow slot, he'll use those idiots as an
example of all
Christianity.

I noticed that several here do as well. That's why I said
they're the
taliban of Christianity. But you're right, people look at the
Westboro's and their radical lunacies, and that's how they wish to
brand ALL Christians.

It's really kinda sad that some people wish to be so narrow
minded as
to judge all by looking at the antics of a few misaligned and self-
rightous klutzes.

But the funny thing is that Christianity has been mocked for around
2000 years, and it's still standing well. So... I look at it like
this. If people want to curse the good Christians, then that really
doesn't make them any different than the Westboro's does it?

As a percentage of humanity, Christianity is on the rocks and
shrinking.

Oh no, and far from it.

I said as a percentage. Take China and Africa muslim and non christian
growth over the last 100 years.

interesting that you should mention China. That's one country where
Christianity is flourishing and growing , not to mention S. Korea.

Smoking too much religious crack? China is only 3 or 4% Christian,
predominantly Buddhist and government is atheist without religious
preference. And in fact, no all seeing eye makes China more separation
between church and state than the USA.

we weren't talking about Buddhism, Islam etc. We were talking about
Christianity weren't we?

Some idiots feelings might be
hurt.

Chinese government is officially atheist. You need to read better
material. Check my stats on CIA Wold Fact Book, ship your voodoo
religious sermon sites.

You sure are turning out to be one condescending asshole... What
happened, some Christian guy steal your girl in High School or something?

That statistic must exclude illegal aliens, most of whom are Catholic. Of course, they probably
don't fill out many census forms.
