Yes you can. Someplace warm comes to mind.

Yes, and someplace easier to get to.

I'm going to start a new thread on favorite islands. Please don't
trash it - islands really don't care about religion, politics or
personalities.

"Easier to get to"??
Every year almost a quarter million 'mericans find their way up here
on cruise ships.
There are direct flights into Halifax from New York daily. What could
be easier than that?

I'm sure that's all true but I have this notion that the proper way to
get to an island is on a boat, preferably your own boat. I have
visited a number of different islands on cruise ships and have always
found the experience somewhat dissatisfying, even when I liked the
place. The problem is partly scheduling. Typically the cruise ship
arrives early morning and departs before sunset. There is no
opportunity to enjoy a dinner a shore or appreciate the night life.
You are also limited in choice of excursions and have to ensure that
you are back at the dock before departure.

A peninsula isn't an island, dip****. YOU stated how easy it was to get
to Halifax when people were talking about the difficulty of getting to
an ISLAND. What a moron!

Duh!
Once you get here, it's a 3 hour drive to Cape Breton.
If you're not particular... we have lovely islands right out in the
harbour. Even a Georgia cracker like you couldn't miss them.

Don, serious question.

Can you think of any good reason to read, much less respond, to the
inane posts of iboaterer-loogy?

He's a cipher, and the only attention he gets is from Scotty or you, or,
when he thinks he can egg him on to do something stupid, flajim.

What's the point in giving him the play?
