And, from the Washington Post no less.

You miss the point entirely.
The Constitution specifically provides for the Post Office to serve the
needs of Americans.
If anything Big Brown should be taken over. It and Fex Ex are and email
and other communication are eating away at it.
I;m not concerned that the USPS makes a mint. It is to serve the People.
It is high time that Americans got something for our tax dollars, other
than subsidizing big oil, developers, and ethanol producers etc.

This kind of logical thinking is lost on morons.

You don't think we get anything for our tax dollars? Well, we pay a ****
load of interest on our huge (and getting bigger every day) debt! Plus,
roads, infrastructure of all sorts, welfare programs, school lunch
programs, medicare, and on and on.

Someone went to a huge detailed effort, and accounted for the moneys
from all sorts of sources, costs and benefits. In Alberta, it is deemed
we get 22 cents of real benefit for ever $1 sent to the feds. I doubt
the USA is much different on average. Just tax sheep for the big pigs.

Obama's we can tax it or Bernanke can print it is wearing kind of thin.

Our tax dollars are a crappy investment. Perhaps like the Internet we
need to downsize the feds and beef up the locals. Less one big glass
house egalitarian massive inefficient government and more distributed.
More frequent elections too, it isn't 1800 where a pony had to go from
California to DC...electronic voting and vote often. The reality is we
have term dictators.

And if you can't use a modern computer, pretty good chance you shouldn't
be voting. In fact, let the people vote instead of congress? You get
10 minutes of pro, 10 minutes of con in a video, then vote. No need to
rely on bribed, corrupt, egalitarian out of touch idiot plutocrats.

But they will not, as the whole democracy thing is a ruse. Rich choose
the ponies, and people loose either way, the back room always wins.

Mind you, I don't think the tea party is throughly corrupted yet, being
new it takes time. Gets some squeeze on them and they too will succumb
to DC corruption.

Seems like paying your bills with real money is no longer the accepted
behavior in USA. Perhaps that is the problem and not the the solution.
