House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said today that some members of his
own caucus who are refusing to agree to a compromise debt ceiling deal
are hoping to unleash “chaos” and thus force the White House and Senate
Democrats to make bigger concessions than they’re already offering. As
many as 40 House Republicans, especially Tea Party members and freshmen,
have demanded nothing short of changing the Constitution to include a
balanced budget amendment before they would vote to raise debt ceiling,
even though that has zero chance before the U.S. faces potential default
on Aug. 2.

Speaking on conservative radio host Laura Ingraham’s show this morning,
Boehner agreed that failing to raise the limit before the deadline would
be devastating, and said the “chaos” plan won’t work when asked by
Ingraham what’s motivating the recalcitrant Republicans:

BOEHNER: Well, first they want more. And my goodness, I want more
too. And secondly, a lot of them believe that if we get passed August
the second and we have enough chaos, we could force the Senate and the
White House to accept a balanced budget amendment. I’m not sure that
that — I don’t think that that strategy works. Because I think the
closer we get to August the second, frankly, the less leverage we have
vis a vis our colleagues in the Senate and the White House.

We need to take back this country from the Tea Baggers.

Funny, your broke so your opinion does not mater.

Unless all you fleabaggers want to all share having nothing. It can be
arranged. GE seems to think DC is a waste of time. You can do the
socialist-marxist thing and give up some of your social assistance to
help others.

You're no citizen and your opinion doesn't matter. Feel free to
continue being stupid.

Good to see there are some people in Congress with Integrity and don't
see the need for compromise that means screwing over their grand kids
with debt-tax slavery as compromise.

Debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more
debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more
debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more
debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more debt-compromise-more debt

That cycle needs to be broken. No more fleabagger compromise, pay your
bills with real money. That is the real compromise. Pay the bills with
real money welshers or do without.

Good to see some integrity and honorable people got elected. And enough
to make a difference.

Good to see you're living up to the stupidity we expect from you!

I laugh with impunity at the fleabaggers. I never became a dependent of
government corruption, fleabagger debt and general fiscal dysfunctional
behaviors.

Fact is, this is the day that it looks like someone in DC is getting a
grip on reality to really deal with this depression. And start
hammering the issues of government spending out of control.

Sure beats that ass hole Obama who has done nothing but shoot his mouth
of a rack up the debt on our grand kids backs. All for his political
and selfish greed and ultimate stupidity.

Time you fleabaggers started honoring your debts with real money, less
money print fraud, less excuses and more action than Obama bull****.

You're a moron. Everyone with 1/2 oz of intelligence is laughing at
you.

It's a terrible, terrible idea. It's allows no flexibility, and it's a
very difficult process to get it ratified. In the mean time, the
country will go down the tubes.

Unless of course there is no compromise, you never plan to pay the debts
and want to borrow an infinite amount of money like a fleabagger debt
welsher.

But I agree, time to cap the insatiable debt-tax spend mentality of the
fleabaggers.

Doesn't even borrow real money, Bernanke just creates it like a

It requires two-thirds of both houses of congress.

Anyone suggesting amending the constitution in this political climate
is either stupid, crazy or dishonest.

Depends if it contains hard caps on debt-slavery to the people. A
formula where government must shut down parts of itself when it
overspends. At some point there has to be a limit on how much
government can take in taxes and how big it can get. Which includes how
much debt it can issue and create in fraud money print.

Basically USA is drowning in debt and bank and money fraud, so the
dumb**** fleabaggers want more debt and more money fraud.

Wow, some pretty stupid selfish ass holes out there. Blinded by greed
and envy, they were lead to slaughter.

It's not possible to compromise with ideologically challenged people
like yourself.
