Default Kayaking fiction in the New Yorker

Not bad. Enough "mistakes" in nomenclature to throw off the discerning
reader. But for some reason, though I don't know who Tim Parks is, the
style is decidedly familiar. Congratulations to the author, whomever he may
be, for a New Yorker debut.
