(BHAX) Typed in Message-ID: Lower Gauley in West Virginia. Temperature is suppose to be 69 degrees F. How cold will the water be? I've heard 30-40's but Im not believing that. Any help? Don't believe it. During normal years, the water from the dam release is between 50 to 55 degree. All the rain this year has kept the lake from forming thermal layers, so the water temperature is above 60 degrees. Still cool enough for a wetsuit, especially if its a little cloudy . SYOTR Larry C. Where did you get that information? I've been running the Gauley for 14 years and the water is never cold. JAM |
