Bull****. Three of the six people I admire most in the contemporary
world and in history are women. I just don't like ditzy conservative
women who are intellectually lazy and, let's be real, demagogues.

The funny thing is that Palin, as an example, was a decent governor of
Alaska for her 1/2 term, albeit quite thin-skinned. She made good
progress against the big oil interests among other things, and she was
highly regarded for that effort by the voters. Then, sensing an
opportunity to boost her career, she lurched violently to the right
after McCain picked her. Now she apparently believes that this will
get her all the money she deserves for her self-promotion schemes, so
she's not backing down from the extreme.
