No argument from me. She announced her candidacy during the GOP debate. To be honest, she and Pawlenty were the most credible, even though they both fabricated at every opportunity. I watched the entire 2-hour show. Santorum seemed to ramble and kept getting back to his "family values" theme. I guess he was trying hard (no pun intended) to not have sex with Romney. He seemed out of place, esp. when he claimed to "fight the good fight," which got him booted out of the Senate by 20% in his last election. Bachmann seemed to have coherent thoughts, although she relied a lot on right-wing rhetoric. I thought she presented herself well, and seemed less crazy and extreme as she really is in reality. She did well for herself. Gingrich seemed scared. He tried to bring some nuance to his answers, but they sort of ran out of gas. It seemed like the rest of the group pretty much ignored him. Romney seemed unable to answer simple questions, but at least didn't come across as a robot. Paul was his usual self, ranting on and on about the evils of the Fed and getting the business of a strong vs. weak dollar at least partially wrong. Amazingly, a couple of the others referred to him from time to time. I thought he didn't actually exist in their frame of reference. Pawlenty was bland but not boring. He seemed the most "presidential" to me. I got the impression he answered the questions he was given fairly directly. I didn't agree with the rhetoric nonsense, but he obviously has some creds. Herman Cain seemed out of place. He almost always answered whatever question he was given with business platitudes. Also, his answer on deep dish vs. thin crust was totally wrong. |

Between liberal media and statism government/union types, you have a lot of fat mouthed liberal-statism against you as a rightie or libertarian. Take the media frenzy over Palin's target sights, but no mention of democrat bulls-eyes. Just fleabagger smear. Lots of talk on Palin's daughter, but total media miss on Obama's polygamist father looking for a knock up and associated green card. Government actually encourage bigger, fatter, more intrusive government in peoples lives. Gives favors to liberal media to always put government in a favorable light. People are manged like a herd. Many a fleabagger is to stupid to realize it, just pander to their greed and they will follow you. I actually looked up Bachmann's Minnesota to see her budget history. While not the absolute best, far less debt per person than democratic fleabaggers tend towards. Certainly on the better half of states economic budgets. Well, from some who claim to be Dems but really aren't. Most of the right-wingers don't want to let women have access to birth control no less to abortion. You can get these crack pots on either side of the fence. http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/04/2...-democrat.html -- Government isn't the solution to the bad economy, it is the problem. |

Wow, old news idiot. I don't follow the news of right-wing freaks moment to moment, unlike some here. She announced during the debate. I was watching. http://uglydemocrats.com/democrats/U.../Helen-Thomas/ Bachmann is much easier and appealing on the eyes. -- Government isn't the solution to the bad economy, it is the problem. |

You really ought to stay away from making politically oriented posts...we already know you are a simple-minded fool; you're just reinforcing it. Most conservatives are not social liberals, and most conservatives are opposed to all manner of womens' reproductive rights, beginning with proper sex education and information and help with contraception. What a ****ing ignorant moron you are. Your daughter ought to get herself emancipated. You have experience with that, eh? |

Bachmann seemed to have coherent thoughts, although she relied a lot on right-wing rhetoric. I thought she presented herself well, and seemed less crazy and extreme as she really is in reality. She did well for herself. Other than hearing brief sound bites and seeing carefully selected media images, I had never paid much attention to or watched Bachmann utter more than a quick sentence before. The "crazy" image she has earned has obviously been enhanced by selective media coverage and displays of unbecoming images. In the debate she certainly presented with much more credibility and sanity than I had read and heard about her in the past, regardless of what one may think of her viewpoints. Careful coaching was involved also, I am sure. I didn't hear any of them talk hardly at all about what THEY would do, more just bashing Obama. Well, Obama be all mouth and no results. Can talk, but can't make the walk. BS isn't going to fix DC. You claimed that your typos were because you have a vision problem, but this is just ignorant writing. "be all mouth"???? |
