I took a break from school when I was 20, applied for and tested against 150 other guys for an apprenticeship in the IBEW in LA. I thought I wanted to own and run generators for the movie business. I tested in 3rd out of the 150 guys but never got an opportunity to apprentice. I think they took one guy in over the next two years. I would have been happy to been a part and my life would have been very different, for sure. |

I was supposed to go one day with my then GF but we had a spat that morning and she left without me;) She had an incident on the way down but survived.. But she never went again. |
