they had plenty of warning without another govt boondoggle.

You mean the existing government boondoggle, those tsunami sensors?
The boondoggle that gave the warnings? (allowing the smartest to
flee?)

When they tell you to got to higher ground and you grab your camera and
go to the beach then you should be shot so that we know you are dead and
we don't have to risk other people's lives to go look for you.

As far as "the thinning of the herd",
like Wiggy says, "Truly stupid people will find ways to kill themselves
no matter what you do to try to protect them from themselves"... Those
folks who went down to take pictures and tied up the Coast Guard should
have to pay for the rescue and be charged complicit in the death of
their friend... Dumb asses...

Wow! Do you feel that strongly about people that are hurt in
motorcycle racing accidents? Or boat racing? Rock climbing? Etc.?

People who involve themselves in risky activities assume the risk. When
I was skydiving I knew that each time I made a skydive I could die,
become physical disabled or break a finger nail.

I think Gene was upset because I called it "the thinning of the herd"
instead of "Darwin Awards"... I think Gene would learn by now, when he

Of course not. You lied. Again.

He does project his shortcomings onto others.

Funny, the "Big Dig" corruption tale I remember had to do with the
corporation that supplied materials for the tunnel roof that down on
passing cars.

A bit of reality: Snotty doesn't have the skills to qualify for *any*
job with any of the building trades unions, and he's too old and too
much of an asshole to get into an apprenticeship program. And any Job
Corps instructor would toss him out of the program during the first week.

I took a break from school when I was 20, applied for and tested
against 150 other guys for an apprenticeship in the IBEW in LA. I
thought I wanted to own and run generators for the movie business. I
tested in 3rd out of the 150 guys but never got an opportunity to
apprentice. I think they took one guy in over the next two years. I
would have been happy to been a part and my life would have been very
different, for sure.

Sky diving and para-sailing are big with the MotoX kids off season. The
problem is you have to 18 so only the older kids get to do it.

I was supposed to go one day with my then GF but we had a spat that
morning and she left without me She had an incident on the way down
but survived.. But she never went again.
