Your knowledge of the world isn't too deep, is it? What may be happening in Libya is a popular uprising and for the moment, the sides seem to be fairly even. Further, we don't know who is leading the opposition to the government there. Finally, whatever the outcome, it will be better for the Libyans if it is a Libyan solution, and not one imposed by outside interests. Libya isn't the former Yugoslavia, where the divisions are racial, religious or ethnic. Some of you righties need to stop playing fast and loose with the lives of young Americans or American $$$ assets on foolhardy adventurism. |

Might want to ask yourself why for many decades UN, US, Canada, UK and others ignored Gaddafi and now all of a sudden it is important to get him out? After all, UN wants a crack at getting their hand picked leader in. And know while the USA has a veto in the UN, it is Muslim/Islam controlled. Heck, Gaddafi even had a premier role in the UN. Best thing for the UN and the west to do is stay the freaking out of it. Let Libyans sort it out for themselves, just like the US civil war. Maybe Mexico should have intervened on the Souths behalf eh? Obama is a hypocritical piece of crap on this. No reason not to let Libyans spill Libyans blood, they will appreciate the results if they do it themselves. Don't forget, the Libyan people put Gaddafi in power themselves. And like Somalia, they will bite the hands that help them. No sense in losing Canadian or American blood. -- Socialism is a great ideal as long as someone else pays for it. And when no one is left to pay for it, they all can share nothing. |

But Obamadebt ego...Obama needs more money from congress....for the record breaking debt spend. Did you know in the last congress they out debt-spent the first 100 congresses combined and that includes WW I, II, Korea... Yep, debtors out of control destroying the USA dream. War and occupation is the excuse. -- Socialism is a great ideal as long as someone else pays for it. And when no one is left to pay for it, they all can share nothing. |
