What kind of boat does everyone own, if you could have your dream boat
what would it be?

I own a '96 Doral 36 Express Cruiser. My dream boat would be a 50" Trawler.

What I saw in Miami this weekend that looked nice.

That Al Sheeshkebab thing would cause quite a stir in the Estero River
wouldn't it?

I doubt it would even make it into the ICW behind FMB.

We saw another nice boat un Nassau

The guys on the bridge of our cruise ship seemed riveted most of the
evening with big binoculars. I am guessing someone was naked in the
spa or something.

Well, I couldn't afford a boat like that, or even want one, but we did
spend five nights in that lighter colored hotel on the right...it's the
Atlantis. :)

I know, that is why I framed the shot that way ;-)

Actually both buildings are part of Atlantis

What's the rep on Atlantis? From the time I first saw promos on it, I
thought it'd be fun to take the family there -- but it almost seems
like a giant Las Vegas hotel transplanted.

I don't expect it'd be quaint but mega with a bunch of rotund American
consumers flooding the place wouldn't be my cup of tea.

More like a cross between Disneyland and Las Vegas by all reports.
We've met a number of people who have stayed at the marina and all
liked it with the caveat that it's a bit pricey.

The marina at Atlantis charges at least 2 or 3 times the going rate
for dockage with some high minimums if my memory is correct. People
we have met liked it for the entertainment value however. The
environment there is also very cloistered compared to most marinas in
Nassau.
