Just happened to look at the local forecast, since we are expecting a bit of snow today, and saw this: "snow with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon" Snow during thunderstorms? Snow before thunderstorms? Snow during thunderstorms is something I don't recall experiencing. We're predicted for 12 to 16" of snow. Someone on the Sound, someone is boating. Betcha. Hardly a late fall/winter goes by here without reading about some hapless duck/goose hunter out on Chesapeake Bay in a little skiff, hunting his prey, falling in the water, and dying fast because of hypothermia. That's a big price to pay for a duck dinner. |
