I agree with this commentor

"The RFA clearly has a vested interest in expanding the use of
ethanol, in spite of the fact that it has been proven it takes more
energy to produce than it provides. The ethanol subsidy should have
been dumped as both parties wanted, but the lobbying effort was there
in force. E15 is going to damage older, non-flex-fuel vehicles but RFA
is only concerned about the money they can score by cheating the
motoring public."
