Outing someones real id is just a way to stifle free speech and intimidate. It's the same as stalking or threatening someones family in my opinon... I don't see any group advantage to allowing a few slobs to assume the identities of other posters or to insult other posters while hiding behind a cloak of anonymity. The stalking, as it were, is being done by those spoofers and insulters who cannot control themselves and behave. In the circumstances under discussion, free speech is not the issue. |
