Boaters leave the dock not expecting to sink, but they carry life preservers because things don't always work out as planned. A "properly placed shot" is pretty similar, what is planned doesn't always come to fruition and where life is at risk, we take exceptional measures. Nearly all of the militaries and law enforcemnt officers around the world carry at least a 9mm, not a .22, for a reason. Years ago, I bought my wife her first gun, a Browning .380. She was comfortable enough with the recoil to not sacrifice accuracy. However, I can't think of any reason a real man would carry a concealed weapon (within reason) based on "acceptable recoil" vs. a knockdown potential found necessary by the militaries and police. Take stock of the fellows you are defending. They like to discuss, name, and compare their penis, even with strangers. You didn't strike me as the type. Is hard enough to know " who " your replying to due to your lack of quoted text, but no one really cares, Mr Small Penis. |
