With a competent captain, it isn't. Agreed. I've had mine in Charleston Harbor in 2+ foot chop, and it's OK. Our local lake has a large main body of water, and I've been out on it when it was really whitecapping... so bad I only saw one other boat out. No problem. In fact, it handles that with a ride that's much smoother than any other kind of boat, except one of those fishing cats. Of course, once it starts to impact the front of the boat, it's a really wet ride, and no fun. No thanks. |
