Bet that was a nice surprise$$!
I got a piece of very good advice from the place I bought my last charger,
don't mount it in the engine room over the battery boxes. Heat and caustic
fumes are not good for electronics.
Exactly where the old one was mounted!

uh no. ever been in a boat's bilge? how much lighting you think is
down there at 10 at night?

Considering the fact that you have extremely poor eyesight, a smart
person would use a flashlight.

If your charger is in the bilge, you should expect a problem.

ever hear of a blown fuse? a bad connection?

apparently you dont have much experience with electrical things. lots
of things can cause lights to go out.

and your light went out a long time ago

Considering the source, I'll ignore your lame attack, Bob.

Educated people would start with the plug connection to the outlet
before they run to a computer looking for help in a newsgroup
overrun by
political wackos.

Ditzy Dan is used to crawling through dark skanky sewers.

does your wife know what you post? Most people store a flashlight
aboard a larger boat.

Of course. Anything larger than a canoe.

not if it's an old boat they haven't worked on for awhile.

Golly, Bob, do you think you might want to bring a flashlight if you are
going to boat at night?

Which is it, you "don't" boat at night or you "rarely" boat at night?
That's about as confusing as most of your political posts.

There is both a plug in spot light on my boat and a 3 cell Maglight on my
21' boat. You never know when you might have to return in the dark, or if
you need to look in a dark place in the bilge.
