Looks like the boat selling on ebay is really not doing that
great.....

What boat?


It has never looked to me like big ticket items sell all that much on
ebay. Cars or boats. No matter what the economy is doing. It's more
of a local sale item and that's not ebay's strength. I'd go to
craig's list first myself.

You're right. But i usually "window shop" on ebay. It's fun to look
and I've gotten some good stuff on there. But it's jsut an observance
that a few years ago boats were being bought and sold with lots of
bids, especially starting this time of the year.

then again, with a reserve or not, people were starting bids much
lower than what they are now instead of making the auctions into a
semi-classified ad.

I still think that some of them are people trying to get out of them
what they owe at the bank
