It is a funny thing about cops with guns. People usually do what
they
say. :-)

Really? They threatened her with a gun? I doubt it.

That was a figure of speech but the gun is still there.

So what? You can be respectful and still tell someone to bugger off
without
a warrant.

You have not had much contact with cops have you?

Pardon? You have? My my.

Last I checked you're not required to answer questions without an
attorney
present. You're also not required to let your house or business be
searched
without a warrant or reasonable probable cause. Has something changed?

You sound like these other internet tough guys who are always telling
us what they would have done.

I'm an attorney. I'm not an "internet tough guy" and I'm not telling you
what I would have done in this situation, because I wasn't there and
don't
have all the facts. It sounds like you're making things up as you go. If
three gov't agents ask for information, I'm going to be damn sure I know
my
rights before I give them anything. The BIGGEST mistake you can make when
confronted with law enforcement is to start talking.

If they draw there guns, I'm going to tell them whatever they want to
hear
and hope to survive. Then, I'd sue the crap out them, and they would
likely
be jobless and in jail.

I guarantee you, if you start this rant, they will get a warrant and
trash your place.

I have no power to stop them, but just because someone flashes a badge
isn't
good enough to intimidate me into giving up my civil rights.

I guarantee you that if I politely explain that they would need either
probable cause or a warrant to search my house (your example), and that
if
they had neither, I would not allow them in. If they insisted, then they
had
better arrest me and make it stick in a court of law. I don't know what
you
would do.

"I'm an attorney... ...If they draw there guns,..."

Excellent D'Plume. We can now see why you gave up a lucrative legal
practice to broker used clothing.

We can see you're a moron. You don't have to keep demonstrating it.

And what are you,D'Plume?

A normal person. AChristian.

A Christian, D'Plume?

Then do you not respect your Blessed Saviour's words when He said to
call no one a fool (moron)?

I did find a posting where Tim had called the account listed in the
book of St. Matthew.
