Was there a court order? If so, what did it say? Have you ever heard of intimidation? * Most people with real lives and real jobs don't have the time, money or inclination to tussle with the Feds. Got nothing to do with "intimidation." Hiring illegals is against the law. Is "against the law" suddenly a difficult concept? Deplume has made it apparent she is ignorant of many aspects of current immigration law. But she talks a lot to cloud the issues. *I really don't think she even does it on purpose. *She's an airhead. But she fooled you into confusing simple enforcement of the law with intimidation. *Not good Wayne, not good at all. Jim - Greg has the patience of Job. Jim... this was HIS word INTIMIDATION. Flap your gums all you want, but you're not making much of a case for your impartiality. Got nothing to do with "impartiality," just attention to facts. Greg said upstream "The INS forced 4 guys to be fired." You turned that into "forced your wife". Wayne starts talking about "intimidation." What actually happened is duly sworn federal agents with proper identification and paperwork relevant to their assignment visited a workplace to inform an employer that they had 4 illegal aliens in their employ. The law was explained to the employer and the employer was requested to take actions as dictated by the laws the federal agents came to enforce.. The employer complied. I think somewhere in this process one of the illegals took off like a striped-ass gazelle. All real simple law enforcement stuff until you clouded everything up. Jim - Hard to see forever with 10 foot visibility on the merry-go-round.. Interestingly, you're just plain wrong: "They forced my wife to fire him" Why don't you claim I'm lying if that makes you feel better. Why should one be asked to claim the obvious, D'Plume? |
