If you believe those Jap boats are " Research Vessels "...you're
dumber than you seem.

I have mixed emotions whenever I watch that show. I'm sympathetic to
the whales but I watch these guys do all kinds of things to the
Japanese, then get indignant when the Japanese fight back. Well, gee.

Who could have predicted that the Japanese would defend their
livelihood? Or that they might become offended at the antics of the Sea
Shepherds?

After all, the Sea Shepherds can do whatever they want without
consequence. Of course in the real world, it doesn't work that way.

I say all this fully recognizing that the Japanese claim to be doing
cetacean research is just so much crap. If they're researching
anything, it's how does this whale taste compared to that whale?

Exactly, they cry like trust fund babies when the guys on the ships who
are trying to feed their families fight back.. It's the real world out
there and they think it's a game. The thing I noticed is they are much
braver knowing every move is being filmed from 4 locations... The Animal
Planet is actually providing them security in some respect.

Here's an idea...buy a couple of war surplus torpedos, duct tape little
man tosk to one of them, and fire it at a whaling ship.

It's just amazing (well, maybe it isn't) the sort of crap who support
the whaling industry.

Watching the show Whale wars for the first time. From what I see it is a
show glorifying terrorists who wish to do physical harm to the Whalers,
their boats and crew. I see the Whalers fighting with water cannons, I
think they should go live fire, their lives are being threatened...

It would be interesting to see what the Admiralty Courts did if the
Japanese sent frigates to protect their research vessels from the pirate
anti-whaling vessels. It is just like what is happening off the coast of
Somalia.

And, what are a nations naval forces for but to protect their merchant

Research vessels? Yeah, BAR probably believes *that* right-wing crap, too.

But I would like to emphasize I, like Don, endorse the killing of baby
seals so rich woman can have nice looking seal skin to wear. After
all, it is Canadian jobs at risk. We don't want to go overboard with
this environmentalist crap.

Oh, and by the way ****head.... the sealers haven't been allowed to kill
the baby seals for a number of years.
