That was the problem in New Orleans. How do you come up
with

It's their fault if they run out. All those banker types
need
our
help!!

I was really referring to the problem with supplying New
Orleans after
the storm but I will accept your answer ;-)

Logistics, its all about logistics.

Do you get the winter clothing sent in May or September?

That is why they always say we better expect it to take a
week
before
we get any meaningful help from the outside world. You can't
really
stockpile supplies locally because nobody knows where the
storm
will
hit until after it does. NOAA guesses are still only 5 days
out
max.
You also need to stockpile the supplies away from the areas
that
will
need them. You don't want your warehouse blown up in the
storm.
It
takes a while to mobilize the transport for this stuff.

And, all of this is the responsibility of the poor who are
living
day-to-day. Basically, that's what you're saying.

I am just saying it is beyond the capability of any government
to
show
up in 4 hours (or even 40 hours) with a million bottles of
water.
That
seemed to be what everyone expected

It is amazing the number of people who are so helpless and want
to
stay
helpless.

It's called a lack of personal responsibility. The liberals
*need*
them to be
helpless so they can continue to pretend they're holding out the
hand of help.

It's not really the liberals that subscribe to this, it's the
progressives like harry, bonnie, pubic etc.

I make no distinction. 'Progressive' is just a name liberals
adopted
because
'liberal' leaves a bad taste in the mouths of so many people.

There is a huge difference...

What is it?

Well, Liberals are peace loving and tolerant.. More toward the
Liberation side of the road, kind of a community based politics where
everyone is equal and important. Progressives are more the the
socialist
side of the road with an intolerant and elitist bent. Divisive to the
community, they survive by creating a "ruling class" and a tax slave
class. They hold power by creating a divide and using any crisis or
extreme to create anxiety between those classes, their most effective
tool is racism, progressives are extremely racist and intolerant in
general.. Liberals are not...

Do some reading, start with Roosevelt and Wilson...

I have seen your posts, this one above is typical. Nothing, air,
empty... I am sure you didn't bother reading up on what I suggested,
At the same time I am sure you really don't care, it's just a lead up
to you calling somebody a racist or a moron... I am not interested..

I'm sure you don't know anything about me. I'm also sure that you've posted
over and over your intolerant, right-wing nuttiness.

If you're not interested in having a rational debate/discussion, I'd suggest
ignoring all of my posts.

But you come here and call people racists and morons without knowing
anything about them!
