One must wonder how this unpublicized, kept-in-the-dark, prayer session made the Washington Post. http://tinyurl.com/35cxwyh WABOH! I think it is a great idea for a president to keep his religious faith to himself as much as possible. There are self-proclaimed christians in this newsgroup, christians like you, who pay little attention to the teachings of their saviour. Obama is a christian. I doubt you are. I hear you that government should be neutral with regards to peaceful practice of religion, christian or not. But Obama becoming a christian of convenience at 27 years of age, before that brought up with Muslim/Marxist family...I have my doubts but admit it is for God to decide. -- Is government working for you, or are you working for the government? |

Wow, he finally read the part of history of why there is separation of church and state. I wonder if he understands it? He really stepped deep into in over the Muslim thing. The intentional "leak" (lol) was designed to deflect from the Barak Husein Obama/Al Queda victory mosque issue... -- Rowdy Mouse Racing - We race for cheese! Yeah, I guess Ron Paul isn't your hero any more. |

He's a pretty level headed guy in that he doesn't not advertise or carry water for either party. His column today, sorry I can't pull it up (probably tomorrow) is titled "Untruths distort elections". His topic today is how BS spread across the internet affects elections. He lists a number of false beliefs by both Reps and Dems and one of them is that 1 in 3 Republicans and 1 in 10 Democrats beleive Obama is a Muslim. Remember during the election when the hard core right couldn't remember whether to hate Obama because he was Muslim or for his stupidly opinionated preacher at the CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF CHRIST that he attended for 20 years and so Obama must share the opinions of his preacher? What this means to me is that this NG has a healthy sampling of the bottom 30% of Republicans and Democrats can be dumb as friggin posts too. |
