Took just a tiny shim on one side to level left to right. Concrete floor was perfectly flat. Built-in locks lined up perfectly, as did the deadbolt. Interesting... looks like they could have been wider? Or was there some structural issue? The 60" opening could have been made wider when the house was built. I could have hired a good carpenter to make it wider during this latest project, but the expense would have been substantial. Such a project is way beyond my rudimentary carpentry skills. The sliders were a problem, since the widest opening they would allow was less than 30". But now, with these double opening doors, I can pull both open at the same time. Guess who sits on that little footstool... meow! You couldn't afford a union laborer to spend three weeks on that for you? |

Harry went to Home Depot and bought the special of the day, and picked up some illegal, non-union hack in front of the store to put it in for 50 bucks. Looks like he paid too much too ![]() did not install that door, you can bet on that? How do I know, well, because he said he did and you all know what that means ![]() I really didn't spend a lot of money on the damn French Doors because I plan on putting up some curtain, so you really won't be able to see them. As if I really cared what a moron like you thought. -- I'm the real Harry, and I post from a Mac, as virtually everyone knows. If a post is attributed to me, and it isn't from a Mac, it's from an ID spoofer who hasn't the balls to post with his own ID. |
