Logic question

25 million American unemployed.

At least $1.6 trillion debt spend this year. (but some say more is actual)

That is $64,000 per unemployed person.

Where is the money really going? I mean this seriously! As Obama does
this for 4 years, that is more than a quarter million dollars per
unemployed!!!

Obama lining rich peoples bird cages with solid gold and diamond plates?

Me thinks bankruptcy of the USD is coming.

it's the racist assumption that obama has something to do with this
that's risible.

obama is, hopefully, doing the responsible things; re-regulating wall
street (done); allowing some of the bush giveaways to the rich to
expire (biggest factor in the deficit), etc.

the racist right just thinks the darkie pres is responsible.

yeah. i suppose that's why he imposed regulations on wall street that
the GOP fought...and the GOP is fighting to preserve tax cuts for the
rich even though we have to BORROW money to pay for them

" Most Senate Republicans voted against the measure, saying it doesn’t
go far enough to prevent future taxpayer-funded bailouts of Wall
Street firms and creates thinecessary new bureaucracy in the
consumer bureau

.. the fact is the GOP congress in 2001 and 2003 passed tax cuts that
focused on the rich

when the economy was destroyed by the rich and their CDO's...as
revenues plummeted due to middle class wage earners losing their
jobs...the bush tax cuts became the largest single factor in the
deficit

and the fact is the GOP didn't like the bill because it DID regulate
wall street...the GOP being in favor of no regulations...a failed view
of economics

in fact, shortly before the vote on the bill, GOP leaders met with the
CEO's of the largest financial houses

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...042003323.html

so your pravda like view of reality doesn't tell the full story.

and the protection bureau?

when has the GOP EVER passed a bill to protect the middle class?

OF COURSE they oppose it!

they're fundamentalist free marketers...even though the DATA shows
their view is WRONG

“There is little in this legislation that will fundamentally change
the way that Wall Street does business,” said Dean Baker, co-director
of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington. “There
is probably no economist who believes that this bill will end the
risks of too-big-to- fail financial institutions. The six largest
banks will still enjoy the enormous implicit subsidy that results from
the expectation that the federal government will bail them out in the
event of a crisis.”

well it seems you're missing the point. the point is not that this
bill will prevent PAST abuses..but FUTURE ones. it does so by

1. banning proprietary trading
2. forcing banks to write a 'living will' so that the govt can bust
'em up if they start to fail

The tax cuts have little to do with the deficit. No meaningful
regulations, and the republicans wanted more. Do you really believe
the crap you write?

really? where's your evidence? because i just posted mine

WHERE IS YOUR DATA?

all you have is GOP mouthpieces telling us how wonderful wall street
did for the economy in the last 3 years.

"With this in mind, the Tax Policy Center, a division of the liberal
Brookings Institution, published a report on July 29 that included
Treasury Department estimates of tax revenue losses that would
accompany an extension of Bush's cuts."

"Inside the accompanying PDF was evidence the Left and their media
minions have been misrepresenting the beneficiaries of these cuts for
a very long time:"

"According to Treasury, the total ten-year cost of completely
extending the Bush tax cuts is $3.675 trillion. The ten-year cost
exclusively associated with extending tax cuts to folks Obama, the
Democrats, and the media consider rich is $679 billion."

"This means that almost $3 trillion of the cost associated with the
Bush tax cuts over the next ten years, or 82 percent, is not for
benefits to the so-called rich."

"As such, despite what the Left and their media minions have been
claiming, 82 percent of the Bush tax cuts benefited the poor, middle-

WTF??

uh...which has NOTHING to do with the FACT the bush tax cuts raped the
economy and caused our MASSIVE deficits

and the biggest benefit to the bush tax cuts went to the wealthy

http://www.factcheck.org/here_we_go_...rates_tax.html

a 50K couple with no kids got a 1.5% tax cut. a million dollar guy got
3.8%

so your right wing bull**** is just another pile of steaming fresh
manure

the wealthy ALWAYS rape the middle class under the GOP

and the wealthy ALWAYS get the right wing to bull**** how god meant
this to be so.

I'm the real Harry, and I post from a Mac, as virtually everyone knows.
If a post is attributed to me, and it isn't from a Mac, it's from an ID
spoofer who hasn't the balls to post with his own ID.

Try it this time instead of knee-jerking. You may, with hard work,
overcome your many deficiencies.

guess you missed the part that the rich get a 3.8% tax cut

the middle class? 1.5%.

this is why the economy collapsed. the middle class gets zip. we cant
spend because the weatlhy keep taking more and more.

try looking at the figures yourself. a guy making 50K gets 772 in tax
cuts. a person making a million gets far far more.

well let's see...the middle class guy earning 50K gets a 1.4% tax cut.
the millionaire making 1M gets a 3% tax cut

If that is a middle class family with kids they got twice as good a
deal.

sorry sport. i compare apples to apples.

If you want proof, just let the whole package expire, across the board
and see who bitches the loudest. I bet your taxes go up. I know mine
will.

yep they will go up. but they're going up anyhow. the wealthy will see
to that. you dont think they're ever going to pay their fair share, do
you?

I still think that may be the best option if you really think the
Clinton era was so great.
I notice you didn't get a raise then either. It was great for that guy
with the $6000 umbrella stand tho. Bush put him in jail.

nope i didnt get a raise. me and the entire middle class

but the right ignores THAT little bit of fact
