Saw an ad this morning for the Ford "Super Duty". The spokeswoman claimed
"you can pull your house with this truck".
Wonder what demographic she had in mind?

I used to want one of those but changed my druthers to a small houseboat on
a trailer and be able to catch some different scenery from time to time.
Sounds like a good retirement goal..

I've thought of parking something similar (only a bit more modern) on
my pontoon boat for about the same reason. I mean barg IS a 30 ft'r.

There is a pretty neat house boat on the CT River across from Harbor
Park, I will try to get a shot one day. Probably more popular in other
areas, but here, not so much.. Yellow and bright Green too.

---------------
That would give you some flexibility!
When I was pontoon shopping I found one that the owner had built a house on
that was probably 14' long on a 22' leaving a short covered deck forward and
a shorter open deck aft. He'd used the new aluminum sandwiched foam like
this http://www.screen-house.com/insulated_patio_covers.htm and framed with
aluminum angle. That sandwiched foam is pretty neat, strong, insulates well
and very light. The inside hadn't been finished yet but I could see a couple
fold up racks and a little counter with fridge under.

What about an enclosure? I saw one on a toon in a storage lot the other day,
looked good.
What was the beam on your aircraft carrier?
