Is it just me or is soliciting donations getting way the hell out of hand? Next day, kids show up with the magazine subscription/ finance our trip to wherever and later make a donation and get a "gift" of stale peanut brittle. I already have a few charities that suck the life from my wallet: electric company water company insurance company mortgage company Not to mention a teenage daughter and a wife that seem to get 90% off the top. . You forgot the greediest buggers of them all, government. -- Government: We have Liberals (academic idealists), NDP (dreaming socialists) and Conservative (lawyer scum) but where is the middle class (common sense)? |

Funny, I count more.... http://uspolitics.about.com/od/usgov...division_2.htm Are you sure you are an American? This Canadian immediately knew you were BSing. 2007 democrat congress also marks the begining of this depression as they chose to ignore interest rate invesions, essentially they created artificially cheap debt...upsetting the balance between savings and debt. Basically why I call this the "Great Depression of Government/Debt 2008-20xx". -- Government has liberals, idealists and lawyers, but where is the common sense? |

Are you talking about both presidents *and* congresses? In any case, the 'far right wing country' thing is changing. Left to their own devices, the liberals will have us in the same shape as that country to our south within a generation. Do you agree or disagree? -- John H All decisions are the result of binary thinking. |
