Default So while you're bickering....

I'm headed out to the lake. That is, in a couple hours. The weather is
gorgeous, will be about high 80's. I'll be hooking up here in a
moment, while the wife is packing the cooler.

All day affair, We won't be leaving until the lake until after the
fireworks this evening.

Plenty of fun to be had today .....

We're headed out for a 'play day' on the Potomac in an hour or so. How come
you're having fireworks on the 3rd instead of the 4th?

Beats me, John. I think it;'s an area thing. Carlyle Lake is having
theirs tonight, and I believe Vincennes Indiana is having them
tomorrow night. Vincennes is really great. Right on the Wabash river
and across the river from the George Rogers Clark memorial. There's
over 5000 people that attend that show. But either place you can boat
right up to the fireworks that is outsid the restricted perimeter.

We're headed out for the boat parade at noon, then will go back out
and accross the lake to a friends house to cooks steaks and then go
out to see the fireworks on the lake this evening.

Hope everyone has a safe one!

Damn - wish I was down there.

Oh well - maybe next year.

Wave at the Ranger when you go by. *:)

We're having an unbelievably beautiful 4th weekend here in SC. After
some thunderstorms earlier this week, the humidity has fallen, it'll
be down to 60 degrees tonight, and the high today is just 83 with 29%
humidity, clear and sunny with 3 - 5 mph wind.. An awesome day in SC.

Oh, and the Ranger is doing fine... I walked over and looked at it
last weekend.

Time to go!

Our weather has been great the last couple of days... just after all our
naval visitors left.
At least we have the Queen Mary 2 visiting today.

Taking the aircraft carrier? *:)

I'm tempted to take the "Kahuna" over to Vincennes tomorrow evening.
Probably have a load of family on it then. I've got some fresh gas in
it and have muffed it to make sure all is well. I've filled out the
paperwork with the Illlinois state, and they're slower than the 7 year
itch on getting stuff back to you. But as long as I keep a copy of the
water certificate and copy of the necessary application available
there shouldn't be any problem.

But today is gong to be a short run with the wife, and maybe meet the
nievce and her sons over on Carlyle. it's a good half way point for
them and It's a good day to take them for a romp on the tube.
