The way I read the information, anyone on a boat, including guests, must
register if they think they may catch a striped bass in Chesapeake Bay, or any of the other places mentioned. This is some genuine horse****. Must be some Obama crap. Or is this Bush's fault too? https://www.countmyfish.noaa.gov/faq_registry.html#23 -- 'Illegal Alien' is to 'Undocumented Worker' as 'Crack Dealer' is to 'Pharmacist'. John H |

It is just a matter of time til the extrapolate that to mean all streams etc since they all run to the oceans. Required registration to fish or a Federal Fishing License. NOAA isn't going to learn a damned thing. Follow the money. Do they think I'm going to answer the phone about some fish I didn't catch or ate last year? |

However, I"m not sure if you have to have one if you live in Maryland as of yet. I think Maryland is one of the states that had some issues concerning state registration data handling and a couple of broader issues with respect to this - these have been resolved, but your license won't take effect until next year. NOAA has extended the free registration program for this year so all you have to do is register with NOAA and you're all set. Doesn't surprise me that Bush signed it. He did a few other stupid things while in office. I suppose I should inform any friends I take out to get themselves registered. What happened to all the fireworks about national identity cards? Isn't this the first step? I can just see the guy at the polling place asking me for my NSAR card before I can vote. May be some good here after all. -- John H All decisions are the result of binary thinking. |
