I wouldn't. 1oz probably isn't enought o do much harm, but I doubt it would do any good. Might try mixing some nitromethane and hydrazene in the tank. I tried the nitromethane and it didn't work. When I was a kid I had a Hodaka Ace 100 trail bike and I thought "real racers burn nitromethane!" so I poured about half a can of cox model airplane fuel int he tank. lets just say it didn't run very well.. I often wondered but never tried it. I remember the Dragsters ran the combination for a little while. The fuel tanks were on the front then. You could watch the clear fumes rrise from the cap. Once it stopped the stuff had formed a class A explosive...not a good thing. They poured the two, into the tank, as close to the race time as possible. i can't rememer any incidents, right off but I'm sure there were a couple of unexpected detonations. you've heard the hammer, of a real hemi,...the bark of alcohol and the detonation of nitro? That mix was a little more robust. They burn so much nitro I don't see how the pistons have any room to compress. |
