They will start out with a huge spool of very heavy mono, probably 400 or 500 lb, row it out and set a baited drop every 100 feet or so along the heavy stuff. They come back and check the drops every couple of days by pulling themselves along the mono by hand, bringing it in on one side of the boat and paying it out on the other. Intersting to watch. |
