I imagine they may have some lithium but that is a long way from
actually being able to get it into production.
It could, perhaps, give them a revenue stream that doesn't involve
poppies but I doubt that will drag them up to the 18th century, much
less the 21st century

Perhaps we should just blanket the whole area with lithium. It might calm
down some of them!
