They can certainly use more than a few engineers. Even at the well head, why wouldn't ideas from other companies that were not brought up in the BP culture be helpful. I do know a little about engineering and I can guarantee, engineers tend to feed off each other and develop a monolithic way of thinking. IBM used to ship a project to another location when they got stuck, just to get another view point on the problems. Good God. You're spot on right about engineers!! lol |
