No wonder with all the Dopers hiding out in here.
A month ago I installed a new motherboard, harddrive , RAM and a graphics
card so I had to reload everything and did have trouble finding rec.boats
under the 'alt' section in newsgroups...
Believe I finally found it under the 'r's'.

Believe I finally found it under the 'r's'.

That would be because it's not an alt. It's a rec.

John, it seems that somethings never change, like the bickering. I'm
cutting back on the popcorn for a while so watching the show isnt' as
fun as it used to be.

Probably something wrong on your side? Seems fine here. That's what I use.
