AvWeb has Jet A going for $4.47 a gallon

That is not a cheap boat to run.

Harold Arneson, pool sweep guy, runs a 42' Skater with a 4500 hp
lycoming jet. Single prop. He takes about 500 gallons to run roundtrip
from San Rafael, Ca on San Pablo Bay to Pittsburg, CA about 45 miles one
way. Probably more than 3 gallons per minutes. He probably cruises the
run at 120 mph. So looking even an hour running, that is about 8
gallons a minute. But buddy who has ridden with Harold says it is fun.
