Default Keeping traditional maritime art alive

Stefan and I of the Deltaville, White Stone, VA area have devoted a
good deal of our time to keeping a very special and traditional,
maritime art alive: Ships in Bottles.

We not only build ships in bottles, but have crafted them in similar
circumstances as the old timers. Our 40' steel boat "Wabi" is called
home and many of the ships in bottles were crafted on board. I have
even worked a bit while sailing under light conditions. Being very
lucky in our travels, we are currently in Switzerland for a short
time, and I have carried my art materials with me and continue working
and taking commissions.

Stefan is a boat builder by trade, "trying to downscale" and enjoys
the idea of being able to build ships that he would never dream of
building in their full scale. I am relatively new to the maritime
world but am embracing and enjoying every bit of it.

To purchase one of these very unique items, share your art, make
comments, and support a traditional marine art practiced by very few,
please visit my website at:
