Only on the days that April 15 is not on a weekend.

Has shared his birthday with the tax man all his life?

No wonder he hates government.

I don't hate government. I hate the idea of 60% of the population working for
the government, while the other 40% draw welfare.

You spent your career working for the government.

Tax man will be in his pocket even in death.

Happy birthday John.

Thankee. The tax man nicked me for an extra $250 'cause Turbo Tax had a boo-boo
therein.

Don't they have a guarantee?

Yes.

"TurboTax calculations are guaranteed 100% accurate. In the event you are
assessed a penalty based on a TurboTax miscalculation, we will reimburse you for
the penalty and the interest. Please visit our Accuracy Guarantee frequently
asked questions page for more information."

However, I was not assessed a penalty.

The problem was with Schedule M, a new form. Turbo Tax filled in and calculated
everything on the form correctly. However, the form leads to a conclusion that
is inconsistent with the instructions. The instructions for the form set a limit
to AGI for any qualification. The actual form does a calculation with the same
limit, but does not stop if the limit is exceeded. The form allows a credit
which the instructions for the form have disallowed.

"Working" might be a generous term for his occupation. (that is...officer in
the US Army)

Stop pulling numbers from your rear end. While the US gov't is the biggest
employer, both state and fed gov'ts combined employ about 8%. If you add the
Post Office, it bumps it up slightly (add 2 million). If you add education,
it ends up about 17% or so.

Here are two links. Feel free to ignore them.

Those are old numbers.

Fact is, working non-government signifigant tax paying people are a
minority in the USA and Canada. That is why they are enslaved tax
servants of the majority.

The number I have is of those paying more than $3000 in taxes, not
working for government and currently employed is about the 100M mark.

So 230M people outvote the working tax slave by over 2:1.

Now that tells us why losers, debtors and government realy want to screw
he working taxpayer.

Did you not 'work' in your government job? Is there some special reason for your

You think it might have to do with your caustic remarks about government
workers, since you were one your entire career?

You're an idiot. John claimed that 60% are "working for the government."
That's complete hogwash. Taxes have gone DOWN under Obama. Feel free to
continue to make a fool out of yourself.
