Bad idea. It'll get knocked off in seas, or cause other havoc.
To answer your question, you should look around and see where 280' foot
boats store their 100' dingies.
That's just a quick decimal thing I did, but you understand.
"I think we need a bigger boat."
Or maybe a dingy that makes sense for the boat you have.
