That is one of many ways to express the Libertarian creed.
Another is to say it is they who should be doing the pocket picking, and
the government should stay out of their business.
In the end, the same goal is reached.


Hear, hear. I've had the same conversation with right leaning
libertarian who went on and on about how there will always be poor
people and those who are smart enough to take advantage of the
situation should be left to do so.

I wonder how many at Goldman Sachs are "libertarians."
