Just bought a 30 foot '86 Sea Ray Weekender. Twin 350 inboards.
With half tanks of gas (optional 100 gal each), light load and smooth water the boat will top out at 34 mph. The boat will cruise at about 25 mph at 2700 RPM each side and trimmed for speed. RPM's max out at around 3600 to 3800 RPMs. Is that low? Is this boat over propped?? Is this speed and RPMs right for this boat? Does this speed at this RPM suggest a problem with engines or prop? Anyone know where I can find the correct prop information for this boat? Thanks, Jim |
