What is WOT RPM for 30' SR Weekender???
 

Just bought a 30 foot '86 Sea Ray Weekender. Twin 350 inboards.

With half tanks of gas (optional 100 gal each), light load and smooth
water the boat will top out at 34 mph. The boat will cruise at about
25 mph at 2700 RPM each side and trimmed for speed.

RPM's max out at around 3600 to 3800 RPMs. Is that low? Is this boat
over propped??

Is this speed and RPMs right for this boat? Does this speed at this
RPM suggest a problem with engines or prop?

Anyone know where I can find the correct prop information for this
boat?

My 1988 300 Weekender has 17 x 16 props with a slight cup. At 3000 rpm's I
average 27mph and wide open throttle is 4200 rpm's with a top speed of 34
mph. I've tried using less cup to bring top rpm up, but didn't like the
effect on cruising speed. At 3000 rpm I average 1.20 mpg........

Jim- Trainfan gave you good info. One thing to remember is that the
"boat" is not propped, the engine is. Whatever the hull, the prop
should allow the engine to develop the manufacturers recommended WOT
rpm's. at WOT. In other words, always check the engine spec's.
