Does Ford make motors used in boats?

I ask as Ford just outsold GM as the #1 sales in the US. And there is a
stench on GM for bailouts, I have a fundimental issue with. That is, I
will not spend my money on a corporation that is in my pocket via
taxations.

So does Ford supply inboard motors to anyone?

I believe Ford got got out of the marine business long ago.
Mercuruiser used them on some of the models in the mid 70's but I take
it that GM made them a better offer on their power plants and Ford was
dropped.

OMC was the last to use them as I recall on the lowly 2.3 in their
runabouts. But there were several Ford big block 429-460 engines used
in jet boats. But that's played out by now, too.

I don't think you'll find a modern Ford engine used in any kind of
domestic marine application today, and that's sad, because they were
pretty good units, too!

No worries...Canuck isn't buying a boat.

You think!

Look for a picture in the next year or so. Maybe you don't have one or
paid too much? Hell, this is a good time, get the deals in the next
year or two.

Nobody will believe you.
Secretive people often brag about their fictional vast fortunes,
fleet of boats, European villas, etc.
Might as well just start lying now.
So what boat(s) do you have?

None right now. Usually rent as of the last few decades.
