Point is, Richard, that you paint yourself (and have
many believers on
the right as a result of doing so) as a
non-partisan but your stripes
shine through in the most obvious way.

Believe me when I say you have no idea what my
"stripes" are.
You have a lot to say for someone who is so ignorant
of facts.

I expect crickets or a punt, so don't feel the need
to respond. You
won't disappoint me. Cuz, like you, I really don't
give a **** what
you think.

Absolutely incorrect. I do care. I just don't
respond well to narrow
minded, ill tempered and mean spirited people who
have no tolerance for
points of view other than their own. You seem to
have joined the "them against
us" mindset, regardless of political persuasion.

Discussing issues with people like yourself (who
would likely be
characterized as far more of an extremist than I) is
pointless.

Hope your business is doing well.

I don't think you addressed this point...

If a "conservative" would make a comment about a
Hispanic, it'd be
along the lines of "illegal, shiftless, lazy,
freeloader, scab, etc."

And you count Plume's comment about the Hispanic
population being
family-oriented and warm as being equivalently racist.

Is something about the second statement derogatory or
do you find
warm, family-oriented people to be offensive?

Actually, I said, "They are mostly a warm, friendly people

been my experience. Did you take a poll or are you just
upset that they're here?

--
Nom=de=Plume

Mostly is a quantity. I am ****ed about the illegals. I
have legal friends that are Hispanic. Including a son in
law. I speak enough Spanish to hold a conversation in a
Spanish speaking country with a non English speaker. We
could end the illegal problem by the end of the week. Pass
another Bracero Bill. Work permits. We allow 100,00's of
thousands of educated workers in to keep down the wages in
the professional disciplines using the H-1 visa program. I
worked along side Bracero's as a teenager. No problem with
them. But we have caused the major problem with illegal
immigrants by awarding them benefits, and then amnesty. Pays
to break the law and come here without papers.

Ok. Well, I'm ****ed about illegals also. We have plenty of
laws on the books already. It's a matter of money for
enforcement. And, it's not economically or logistically
possible to deport 12 million people all at a time. The
current budget calls for an increase in funding for
enforcement, mostly auditing companies that are likely to hire
illegals. That is progressing, but too slowly. There are also
technical mechanisms (e.g., actually being able to cross-ref
social security numbers with birth dates, etc.) that would
help find those who use forged documents. We need to have
better border security, not so much for the Mexican/South of
the Border groups, as for terrorists.

We don't need civilians armed to the teeth patrolling the
border. That's just dumb on a number of levels. Nothing wrong
with spotters, but they need to be able to call law
enforcement to take action.

--
Nom=de=Plume

But the law even if called does nada. The Federal Government
is failing in one of their primary duties. That is protecting
the nation.

Huh? If a company is found to be deliberately hiring illegals,
it's a big deal. What were the previous administrations doing?
Nothing. At least something is starting to happen.

--
Nom=de=Plume

The previous administration had some huge raids, netting lots of
illegals. Be outcry over the poor peons being busted. And Tyson
Farms, who is a big Dem contributor, cried wolf.

The previous administration did little and underfunded the program
of enforcement. They made a couple of show raids, and that was
about it.

Suggestion: Get your head out of Dick Cheney's butt.

Right. I type william mckee disk drive patent into google and the very

All the patent info right there. 10 seconds.
It fits what Bill has talked about before.

Difference between you and Bill is he isn't lying. Even uses his real

You don't get paid for that, do you?
If so, consider yourself a member of "The Bull**** Economy."
People with no real skill finding a niche.
Most home inspectors used by new home lenders fit right in there.
Most don't know squat about homes, but know the formulated moves to
make, the RE agents to butter up and kick back to for referrals, and
what fee the market will bear for their "services."
So it figures you had difficulty finding Bill's patent.
Be proud of yourself. Nice racket you've got.
And go on calling people names when you disagree with them.
Nobody cares, but if it makes you feel good, why not?

is pointless.

Hope your business is doing well.

I don't think you addressed this point...

If a "conservative" would make a comment about a
Hispanic, it'd be
along the lines of "illegal, shiftless, lazy,
freeloader, scab, etc."

And you count Plume's comment about the Hispanic
population being
family-oriented and warm as being equivalently
racist.

Is something about the second statement derogatory
or do you find
warm, family-oriented people to be offensive?

GOOD GRIEF!

Eisboch

So, you refuse to address the point. Ok.

--
Nom=de=Plume

All those hispanics warm and loving.
http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServe...ecentersffe c

$1.4 Billion to incarerate illegals and they are
mostly hispanic. How many more hispanics that are
legal are incarcerated?

Please show me where I said "all" Hispanics.

Please show me where "all" white are honest citizens.

--
Nom=de=Plume

You insinuated that there were very few not warm and
loving.

Actually, I said, "They are mostly a warm, friendly
people who care about family and community." I made no
comment about a quantity, except with the use of mostly,
and that's been my experience. Did you take a poll or are
you just upset that they're here?

--
Nom=de=Plume

Pays to break the law and come here without papers.

Ok. Well, I'm ****ed about illegals also. We have plenty of
laws on the books already. It's a matter of money for
enforcement. And, it's not economically or logistically
possible to deport 12 million people all at a time. The
current budget calls for an increase in funding for
enforcement, mostly auditing companies that are likely to
hire illegals. That is progressing, but too slowly. There
are also technical mechanisms (e.g., actually being able to
cross-ref social security numbers with birth dates, etc.)
that would help find those who use forged documents. We
need to have better border security, not so much for the
Mexican/South of the Border groups, as for terrorists.

We don't need civilians armed to the teeth patrolling the
border. That's just dumb on a number of levels. Nothing
wrong with spotters, but they need to be able to call law
enforcement to take action.

--
Nom=de=Plume

But the law even if called does nada. The Federal
Government is failing in one of their primary duties. That
is protecting the nation.

Huh? If a company is found to be deliberately hiring
illegals, it's a big deal. What were the previous
administrations doing? Nothing. At least something is
starting to happen.

--
Nom=de=Plume

The previous administration had some huge raids, netting lots
of illegals. Be outcry over the poor peons being busted. And
Tyson Farms, who is a big Dem contributor, cried wolf.

The previous administration did little and underfunded the
program of enforcement. They made a couple of show raids, and
that was about it.

Suggestion: Get your head out of Dick Cheney's butt.

Get your head out of Reid's but.

You're the one who keeps the dream of the last crappy
administration alive.

--
Nom=de=Plume

I did not vote for the last administration and figured this one
may be OK. Wrong on this one being OK.

I doubt it. You don't sound like someone who would miss a chance at
voting for Bush/Cheney.

Bad judge of character had to be added to your resume.

You're a liar. You lied about your "patents" among other things.

Nom=de=Plume

You are an imcompetent patent person if you can not find my disk drive
patent.

You're a liar. Nothing like that is in the database under the name
you're using.

Incompetent troll.

Sure, whatever. You're still a liar.

Nom=de=Plume

The guy who posted my patent, shows you to be a liar about being a patent
atty.

"The guy"? Which guy? Your imaginary 6' tall friend?

Maybe she doesn't know Bill is short for William?
I don't think so.
I had no trouble finding your patent using google.
No "database" needed. Well, google is essentially a database.
Took all of 10 seconds.
But you're probably right about her being a troll.
The giveaway is "under the name you're using."
Cute. A dishonest way to try to cut somebody down.

I put my name and "patent" in Google. Returned as number two on the list,
the first being a Richard with a last name spelled differently than mine.

I didn't Google using "Eisboch".

I have bad memories of dealing with patent attorneys. When I sold my
company and the buyer began the due diligence process, two patent attorneys
were the first people I met with. One was a corporate type for the buyer,
the other was a hired consultant. Spent the better part of two days with
them, and finally they left to go do whatever it is that they do.

We then went through the (almost 3 month) exhausting process of due
diligence, looking at all our financials, taxes, liabilities, etc. and I was
getting worn out by the whole process. The buyer was a large, public
company and had many resources, including a staff of lawyers, accountants
and marketing types. Any small business owner who goes through this will
understand how grueling the process is and at some point you basically
become committed to the deal, just to get it over with.

The day before the official closing (almost 3 months later) the two patent
attorneys came back with a 3 inch stack of patent copies. They started going
through them, one by one, asking if we built anything like what was on the
patent papers. It was ridiculous. It was like being Ford and the attorney
hands you a patent by Chevrolet and asks if you make anything similar.

The CEO of the acquiring company was a gruff, tough talking, no-nonsense
type and nobody in his company cherished getting on his radar screen. By 8
pm, the evening before the closing, we were only halfway through the stack
of papers that his patent attorneys had prepared. Exasperated, I called
for a break and told them that I had had enough and one of them was going
to have to call the CEO of their company and tell him the closing would have
to be postponed to a later date because we still had a pile of papers to go
through.

The patent attorneys looked at each other with panic in their faces, picked
up the remaining paperwork and stuffed it into their briefcases. They then
announced that everything was fine, there didn't appear to be any patent
conflicts or infringements to be concerned with and left.

The closing occurred on time the next morning.

Sounds like they billed by the hour and wanted to rack up a lot more
hours...

BTW, local paper here had a nice spread about the "third-largest" guitar
manufacturer in the USA being right in our backyards.
