Let me explain how your computer works. Open a browser. You know one of
the programs that you look at the naked pictures on. Then find Google and
look up switches and see who sells them.

Let me explain how Usenet works... You take a question to a group that is
familiar with the topic and ask it. Folks who have had real world experience
give you their opinion and findings, instead of bought and paid for Google ad
pages. If you are lucky you don't have some google head cut and pasting those
ads for you... plonk

There is no experience that amounts to a hill of beans on your part. We
are not here to fix your motorbike even though the experiance _is_ here
that is vastly higher than you. They could give a damn less about living
your life through your children an their adventures. So go to hell.

I see your ploink and raise you two kicks in the ass for your stupidity.

Snotty Scotty *

Since I was notified that announcing who I ***** was bad form, I have sworn
not to announce who I *****, I shall just say, what he said. ;-)

According to some, we have a huge space we dedicate to political rants, and
yet not a little space for a real boat question. Interesting.

TY, Scotty.

Steve B, not SteveB. It seems I now have a shadow/stalker

Have you noticed that it's mostly the folks who do not agree with Harry/Plum,
JPS, and Slammer here that have those Just another of the ever changing
tactics they use to keep folks from having a fair say...

Look on the side of the sw case and see if there are numbers or a name
like Cherry. Napa does carry some, or look at Digi-key or McMasters Car
for one with the same dimensions.

Been weathered in, and recovering, so haven't been out, really. Just
asking
in case another person had the same experience. I believe I can find a
replacement/substitute.

Steve

Is this the same size as the "snap in" switches for a range vent hood?
(1 1/4 x 3/8 or so?) If so there are lots of them at any appliance
parts place. They may even have them at a home store. The trick is
finding one with a DC rating. In that regard the auto parts place may
be a better choice. They use the same form factor in after market
accessories.

I really don't see any problem in this. I was just wondering if anyone had
a similar experience. I'm sure that I could take the switch out and go down
and either match it or get something close. Or shim it in. It gets light
duty.

Ebay has some "Minn Kota switches" listed.
Also, might take what you have to an electronics store and see if they can
match it.
