Come on Bill, you should at least try and sound intelligent. MLs are not

Bill, it is pointless to discuss issues with someone who's mind is
closed.

Wow... did they go after your kids? If so, was it really bad indigestion?

You have kids in the area where mountain lions are, you need to keep an eye
on keeping them safe.

I assume you don't let the kids take out the trash after dark.
Trash cans tend to be raccoon feeders and big cats come for the
raccoons.

Sure thing... I usually tie a piece of steak around their necks first
though.

I've got nice flood lights for that sort of stuff when the relatives are
around.

Poor baby. Why don't you reply to all my posts if that makes you feel
better. Or, have a cookie.

I wouldn't count on the flood lights to do much to prevent predators
from coming after prey.
I haven't seen a panther yet but I see bob cats in my yard quite
often, coming after the possums and raccoons.
We have a pretty good assortment of wildlife around here because there
are thousands of acres of park land between here and the bay.
We have wild hogs, deer and even a black bear occasionally. The only
panther we had in the scrub park was hit by a cop car over near the
airport. They may travel 20-30 miles a night from what the
biologists find with the tracking collars.

I'm relying on the flood lights to let us see what's there. Then, when/if we
see a mountain lion, I put the steak around their necks and send them out.
