Jack,
I was commenting on your response: "With homeland security, U.S. Coast Guard. Maybe they are monitoring this group for complete morons willing to dump garbage in the sea. Where we get our food and pleasure from. If they are. I hope you go to jail, and rot there till you can no longer pose a menace to society, and the boating public." I would appear that you are already condemning Scott as if he had already dumped it rather than just asking the question. How considering that this wasn't a troll post, I could see where, when we're sinking ships as artificial reefs (of course properly prepared), someone might ask in all seriousness if dumping the sofa was okay. BTW I also contribute to one of your mentioned conservation groups. I think conservation is a fine thing as long as not taken too far. I'm sure these zealots that are going around burning SUVs also see themselves as conservationists. Paul "Jack Rye" wrote in message news:nvL9b.56990$Qy4.42257@fed1read05... No I guess I am not. Considering I support a clean ocean. I belong to the following groups. Ocean Futures Society Sierra Club National Ocean Service National Coalition for Marine Conservation The Ocean Conservancy I just hate stupid people thinking the ocean is a dumping ground. Jack "Paul Schilter" paulschilter@comcast,dot,net wrote in message ... jps, Nor is he into civility either. Paul "jps" wrote in message ...
